I just finished listening to the album and I am speechless it was wonderful. I like the Buffet like feel, and the originality of the songs. I can't say enough about it other than this is a must have album.

Tim and I can't thank you, Smitty, and Asa enough for playing at our BBQ during our wedding weekend May 25, 2008. You guys were hit with all our family and friends....young and old! It was the perfect prelude to our honeymoon in Key West. You will always have a special place in our hearts. We recommend Bob Peck and Friends to everyone!

The Cape’s musicians are as varied as the main streets of Sandwich, Hyannis and Chatham. Whether you like classic British Invasion pop, soothing piano lullabies or aggressively edgy rock, there’s a CD for you.

“Wind In My Sails,” Bob Peck & Smitty (www.bobpeckmusic.com)
Who he is: Peck is an Eastham-based singer-songwriter who performs solo, as part of a duo (with bass player Bob “Smitty” Smith) and with the group Big Fish.
What he sounds like: A musical postcard from Cape Cod. Peck favors the acoustic, nostalgic side of Jimmy Buffett. As he writes in the liner notes, “Give me my guitar, my dog Shelby and a sailboat balanced on the wind, and I’m happy. Give me a place to sing about it to others, and I’m in heaven.”

Bob Peck was absolutely great to work with! I hired him to perform at our wedding on 6/16/07. He was professional and was a pleasure to work with. My husband and I were both extremely pleased and felt that he added a lot to our reception. Bob Peck is very talented and fun.

Peck's first CD is an acoustic homage to Cape Cod. His upbeat musical observations of the sea, his dog and lady love make for a poignant, spirited collection of songs that only a true craftsman with a keen eye and open heart could create.
